Meet Al and Karen Hoeft, a dynamic duo making a difference. Both are Majors in the Salvation Army, and Al also serves as the President of the Regina Eastview Rotary Club. For them, the holiday season is the busiest time of year.

Throughout November and December, Al and Karen focus on supporting well-known Salvation Army holiday programs. From organizing food hampers for those in need to coordinating Toy Mountain and running the Christmas kettle fundraising campaign, their dedication shines brightly.

As club president, Al has also championed the relaunch of the Adventures in Agriculture program. The Regina Eastview Club strongly supports Rotary’s youth initiatives, including the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) and other “adventure” programs like Citizenship, Technology, Human Rights, and the Model United Nations.

Al and Karen embody the true spirit of service, spreading hope and opportunity wherever they go.
